We began with full site establishment across the project. We also implemented project management and environmental controls from day one. This ensured safe and compliant delivery throughout.

First, we stripped and stockpiled topsoil for later reinstatement. We then completed bulk excavation of the waterway. This included forming access tracks and batters to achieve the required lines and levels. As we excavated, we removed rock as it was encountered. We also separated and stockpiled all unsuitable material. Additionally, excess excavation material was carted off site for disposal.

Next, we constructed eight pond areas across the site. We placed and compacted clay liners and associated fill in controlled layers. Level 1 geotechnical testing was carried out throughout to verify material quality and compaction compliance.

Following bulk earthworks, we reloaded and spread the stockpiled topsoil. We also supplied and spread imported topsoil where required. We then improved the topsoil through amelioration. This included gypsum and lime stabilisation surface treatment to enhance performance and establishability.

We completed detailed civil and rockwork elements to finish the project. These included chute, endwall and low-flow channel rock protection. We also constructed a concrete shared path, maintenance track and chute nib walls.

Finally, we installed Miracell erosion control matting where specified. All disturbed areas were then hydroseeded to stabilise surfaces and promote rapid revegetation. We also carried out ongoing maintenance to ensure long-term resilience and function.
